Massey Ferguson MF12

Will keep my eyes on this thread, keep yours on mine. We'll figure this variator stuff out together haha.

Well, as much I liked this old girl and thought it would make a super tough offroader I really need to move a couple/few tractors to free up some space as I'm jammed up bad and this was the first to go.

I finished breaking in the engine before it was picked up and although the oil is clean as heck (it's 2nd fill) it's still a little sparkly as you can see so it could definitely use one more good flush (as I told the new owner)

Here it is unloaded at it's new home.

My tractor friend Steve who is into tractor pulling bought it so I'll likely get to visit it and maybe even get to try it in it's new configuration which makes me feel all warm in fuzzy inside! Lol.

I can't even feel bad about letting it go. I saved it from sitting around in a barn, gave it some motorvation then found it a good home that will give it a new lease on life.

Thanks to all that showed interest and contributed to this thread, I'll keep it open in case there's a opportunity to share any updates!

Hate to see it go, but if you were 

a. 1200 miles closer
b. this side of the border
c. price was right

I would be all over that machine.  MF's are the only tractor left I would be curious of building.
