Not sure where or if I posted on here somewhere, I had planned a riding trip last Monday the 10th. It would be like the 4th or 5th scheduled ride I was planning since last Nov. All the plans failed and I was hoping not to go 4 for 4 not riding. or was it 5? Anyway. Again my plan did not come about. I think I am done trying to plan again. I've already started toying with my endgame with tractors.
1 Dirty Rat - It will go to the bitter end. 2 Bowser - It will be scrapped when my Daughter is done. That time seems soon, maybe not? 3 Li'l Red - It's run it's course. Not the first to go. 4 The Green Machine - Safe for now. 5 Purple People Eater - Unknown at this time 6 Kal - It's already on cannibal list. Right now, it's still complete. (no longer used)
7 Redneck - Already cannibalized. May pull a couple more parts and scrapped. 8 Parts Murray Widebody, Already fully cannibalized. Waiting to scrap. 9 85 Murray GT - fully cannibalized. Waiting to scrap. 10 JD RER - engine cannibalized, probably will not rebuild.
11 Phoenix/Grandpa - Will never scrap. Only catastrophic failure. 12 LT1K - life support will use till catastrophic failure.
13 9n will probably just become yard art when it quits. 14 Halloween craftsman is yard art.

I get it man. Frustrating as all get out. Kinda gets hard after awhile to keep this hobby alive. Mines been sitting untouched for the past 3 months, still gotta get the bearings pressed out. Good days will come around though.
The 9N running ok? Hate to see something with so much history stop working.

Yeah it is running OK, only issue is a oil leak out the filter housing. Contemplated converting it to the newer automotive style. I used it last month to fix a neighbor's driveway that got washed out!

One day at a time man, I know it's frustrating as I'm kind of in the same boat as you with noone to currently ride with but when I want to go bad enough I just end up going solo and I still enjoy myself although I ride more reserved and take less risks because I'm alone.
We're definitely the black sheep of the powersports world! Lol.
I hate to think of the end of my tractors, though I know it must one day come. I just figure I'll worry about it when I get there. If you ever get the time you're definitely always welcome to come out to ride with us KY folk! It's not all the crazy kill yourself type riding you see me and the guys do, there's a few folks that just cruise around with us and watch, it's all super chill and no pressure!
There was a while in my life where I never thought I would get back into riding, and now it's crazy to me that I ever stopped. Life surprises you!
He is about 3.5 hours East of me. There's a good looking offroad park about halfway between me and him that we're trying to go to as well. One of the KY guys and his wife actually already went out there on their tractors so we know the park staff are cool with us.
