I tend to try not spill personal stuff out there, but I do from time to time.
Man, I've been feeling the strain and some personal burnout. I'm pulling my big boy pants up, but some days it is hard.
Tractors: I've had 4 planned outings since November to go riding. We've made 0 of them due to various reasons. Not getting to go riding really makes one wonder if it is worthwhile to build. This can easilly be seen with the lack of new stuff on my youtube. (not like I had much to begin with) Also, again with the content, you probably noticed the lack of going to my in-laws. Well, they kind of cleared out 90% of their land. All my trails are gone. Also, no real path to run at this time. I know, it is their land to do with what they want.
Website: How many Site Admins for ATLTF? 4 How many do you see logged in... I think I have said enough there.
Other... My only means of transportation for tractors is out of commission. Our pickup is in the shop due to trashed rear pinion and diff. Talk about $$$$ coming out of my pocket.
Man, I have really been feeing some strain this year. I hope it's all up hill from here.
On a plus side, a place did open up literally less than 30 minutes from the house for riding. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it does have plenty of good reviews and it is "Tractor Friendly". I say that. Once we get down there, we will probably be the first. They do say "all kinds off off road machines" on their site. I hope to get down there sometime after we get the truck back.

Hello mighty raze, i can really understand you and i fell sorry for you. Im 15 years old right now and i have a to do a lot for school right now, wich means that i have no time (and money) for all of my projects. I currently have 6 projects and none of them are running. They are nearly all finished, but only some SMALL parts are missing.... At least i have 2 weeks of holidays right now -finally a bit of time for me and my projects. In my summer hollidays i WILL do a summer job or something to make money that i can spend on my projects. Sometimes life sucks... -especially when you live in germany -. I dont want to mention our political situation in our country, you never know what THEY are planning up there. One good side is that i can at least finish my kart's clutch this holidays. Life will hopefully soon get better, have a Great day!

I hear y’all. I went through a couple nasty break ups these last couple years and got diagnosed with depression a couple months ago. One of my exes was spreading false accusations with serious implications, and it could have gotten really hairy. Fortunately it blew over, I hope to be in better standing mentally soon. At least I’m motivated to get back to WL!

I get it. Work is tough stuff breaks down and nowhere to ride. I'm on probation because my town marshal is a prick and can't leave anyone alone and the town officials are suing half the damn town because they don't like people. Now they are dumping Ohio's toxic waste a few miles out side of my town. Also my hours at work are just horrible people piss me off and I'm about to transfer from my job to a different location because they are hiring a second annoying manager and forcing the cool manager to step down. On top of that I'm building a truck so I don't have to drive a rusted out S10 with a million miles and I dont have much money because I'm buying a bunch of parts. I did however get some work done on my tractor so it will be ready for my one ride I get a year if I can make it to haspin

Apparently my sluggishness with projects is not all fatigue. Got blood work done recently and my inflammatory markers came back double the normal range. No wonder my knees have been giving me trouble.

After a somewhat productive weekend on #TheGreenMachine, it's nice to clean up the garage and have a project reset. Maybe that will help get motivated with a new project.
Maybe that Redneck puller tractor? Need to get it hauled to the house. I have no need for a puller, maybe something new since it isn't too modified that some stuff cannot be reversed?

Feeling a little defeated again. 5 times since last November I have planned to go riding. 5 times I have had life decline that request. Makes me wonder should I even hang onto them anymore.

I hear you Jerry, I'm basically in the same boat. I started this journey solo and will continue on solo if I have to which seems to be the reality of things for me. I didn't lose my tractor friend per say but considering he moved 2000kms away (1200 miles) we'll be lucky to see each other and ride twice a year which really sucks, he's the best friend I've made in 10+ years...
Not once last year could I get my neighbor to go for a ride despite us doing work to his tractor and it's not shaping up much better for this year... after all the time and effort I put into his 2300 swap he seemingly can't even be bothered to come by to see and try it. I'm pretty peeved about that to say the least.
Regardless, I'll soldier on! I love my tractors and enjoy building them almost as much as riding them, if I need to ride alone to ride then that's what I'll do I'm used to doing things alone anyhow! Lol. It's definitely funner to share with a friend but it is what it is and I'm not giving up, neither should you!
I have different tractors to do different things, some are utility, some are offroaders, a racer is in the works and I'd like to build a pulling tractor in the future so no matter what I have a rig for the occasion!
You do you but I think you'd regret pulling back, you obviously have a passion for it and have built some amazing rigs!
Feel it @Brianator and @MightyRaze. My depression is getting worse… Ive stopped taking care of myself in terms of sleeping, eating regularly… hell I don’t even fold my clothes anymore. My workbench is completely covered in clutter and my joints are still bad. I can’t even walk more than a half mile before I start to lose my inertia. I haven’t done much these last couple weeks because of how flat broke I am on top of that. Idk… it is what it is and there are a lot of people out there with it worse so I can’t complain too loud I guess.

One day at a time man. First you need to take care of yourself. That is what matters. Find the good things in your day to day and cling to them. Build yourself back up every chance you can. See some medical if you need. I can say I am rooting for you and I am pretty certain @Brianator is as well.

@Rustbucket Garage that's definitely a rough patch if I ever did hear of one but I'm sure you'll pull through! Have you ever seen the movie "What about Bob" with Billy Murray? Not only is it funny (I think so anyways) but the baby step thing is brilliant and it's helped me in the past.
