What do you take when you go on a ride that is not near your source of tools/parts like your home or RV.
For instance, you load up and travel for a ride. What do you take? I'm sure there is a thread about this in here somewhere. There is one similar in this same section.
I'll start:
For safety, I would recommend taking a friend or meeting a friend. Should one of you break, you have the other to drag you out.
This leads me to the next, a tow rope or something you can tow or get towed.
Simple tools for trail repairs
If a long ride, some kind drink, water, or cold snack.
Snack if longer.
Maybe an extra splash of gas to get you back to camp/parking.
Cell phone, should you need help or emergency.
What do you take?
....and GO.

Well, I personally tend to be over prepared (according to some) when I go for a ride whether it be on a ATV, tractor or bike (motorized or not). At the very least I'll carry my phone, a few basic tools, a spare spark plug, electrical tape (can double as a first aid item), a lighter, water and a energy (snack) bar. When I ride alone I always let someone know, keep in touch during the ride and sometimes share my location via Google.
My ATVs and tractors have enough storage that I carry a bunch of tools, a few spare parts, some hardware, tow strap(s) and a small first aid kit complete with Advil, chewable Asprin and a small length of cotton rope that could be used as a torniquet if needed (hopefully not!). The first aid kit itself came from a GM vehicle (found at a scrapyard) and is quite compact.
For longer rides I take extra water and food, one day was leftover pizza, another day we were cooking hotdogs on the side of the trail! Lol. (Not me pictured, that's my friend Jace aka. @atractorkid7)
