Hey everyone I'm newly addicted to the lawn/garden tractor world, I had no idea how well built these old tractors are. lot's of plans and ideas bouncing around in my head 1- Fully restore 1975 SS16 2- Build a sled puller out of our 2nd SS16 3- Build a offroad mower out of a ST16, no pictures of this one as it's just a pile of parts
Right now we are working out different engine setups the first SS16's Onan runs like a champ and we don't have the second SS16 running yet but we'll see. we have a few different engines sitting around like a nice 420cc predator and multiple 212's, I've also been contemplating a 350cc 2 stroke from one of the three 1985 Honda FL350 odyssey's we have.
Anyway thanks for having me and hopefully some build threads and/or posts to come if I can stop watching mud mower videos from redzz02, creeprycrawler and mr studabaker

Thanks for all the “welcomes” I had no idea how well built these old garden tractors are, they are stout little machines and I’m totally hooked on these things I really like this forum, lots of great build threads!!!!!! Which has given me some really good ideas on what works. Plus we have some really good trails right here on our property to test things out.
I’m also trying to convince other members in our Jeep club to build off-road mud mowers too

Sweet we can always use some more people, one of the best things about mud mowers is they can be very financially cheap, or if your like me they can get a little spendy once ya start to modify stuff but they are an absolute blast either way. Also nice to see we have more people from here in the PNW getting interested because there aren't many events that involve the mowers up here and hopefully as more people join there can be some more events happening. Aswell as new ideas arising from new people that can benefit the whole community.
