Best mod you can do, especially when you're too poor to buy good batteries like me. They're all I ever use. Make sure you pull it to the compression stroke before you give it a rip so it doesn't try to rip your arm off

I haven't bought a new battery in nearly 5 years. The one in Red is 5 years old. I can still get about 30 seconds of cranking out of it between either running or charging. (sometimes I forget to turn the gas on ). Ones on both suburbans turn 5 later this year. One on my blue craftsman mower is 6 years, I added some more distilled water to it once. It still turns over for about 15 seconds before dying for another charge. I have 2 others that are on a shelf that need to be used as a core charge. One is from 2012 and the other is from 1996. LOL
Your asking, what about Kal and Patriot... Kal's battery is in Thor, and Patriot's is in Red. Red's old one is the 2012.
EDIT: Correction, one from Kal is in the 9N Ford.

We haven't really had any information put up at this time for Build-Off prizes as this year is a bit sketchy due to the Rona. Last year, Some members donated prizes as well as myself for the build-off.
Here is the pull start,

Friendly neighborhood mightyraze, rescuing neighbors from certain...er, mud or something.
It's weird to me seeing how straight and clean everything is on this mower, like just the top of the engine, the shroud is so shiny and unbeaten like any of mine.
Ooooh! Something followed me home. How timely to put it in Red!
Only concern.... will it fit behind that shock tower. If not, I guess some minor rework is in order.
Got it for $40. It's not locked up, has compression. Guy said he could get it to fire and run spraying carb spray in it. We will see. What I can see "PERSONALLY", it looks good.

After some checking and measuring, it will take some rework on the front suspension to get the v-twin to fit in there. I'm not looking to rework that at this time, so the engine will be cleaned up and ready to go for when I need it.

Yeah, if I had some spare $$ lying around. :-) I'm going to see if I can get this engine to lick off and see how she runs this weekend sometime. Looks like it ran pretty normal. Only things I found wrong on a surface level inspection was the valves were out of spec and the oil drain was working itself out causing oil to be sprayed all over. The carb looked fine and the bowl was clean.

Thanks! It's changed a lot over the past year. I had different exhaust on it. That was changed as well over the past year.
The 21hp motor runs good: See Below. I'm still 50/50 on installing it in Red, or a new project.

SO, I finally have the itch to tinker on a tractor. I was hoping to score a good deal on a Sears SS12, but the buyer sold it to someone else after I was talking to him. Then I got to thinking. I need another tractor like I need a hole in the head.
I was thinking of maybe trying to make what I have better!
I think it is time to up my welding and redo Li'l Red one more time. Time to make it tougher and be able to truly tackle the trails of any place.
I think I will see If I can rebuild it from the ground up!
Plans are open, but I think I may take a stab at a custom frame. if it does not cost too much.
Put in the 21HP Vtwin
Better front suspension.
While the tires are good, maybe upgrade them. Put these on other tractors.

Yeah, I like the overall look as well. I will say Metal is $$. See if I can score some that someone wants to rid. Maybe. This isn't going to happen in a month. I still need to get it to the garage.

AYE! I left the fuel shutoff in the "on" position on Red. All the gas is in the engine. Pulled the dipstick and it was almost half way up the tube. Also, a flat tire.
