| Rear ones. I've struggled with ideas on that since day one. I like Doc's version but it doesn't work well with this model as the skirting on the fenders are not much more than an inch already. | |

| Ah I see what you mean... You could weld some steel to the bottom at a 90 degree angle so it's already bent in or out. Outward would be easier to do but inward looks better depending the build....
Ah well, I guess you may not want to burn a hole in the body though.
I think you might be fine with Docs idea as long as you bend them outward like he did. Inward is just too tricky with limited space to drill your holes.

| OK, my back was feeling ok tonight so I hefted the Engine back on the chassis. I'll probably feel it tomorrow. Items for next few days are:
still need my panhard bar.
- build my bumper
- mount a winch
- clean up engine, add oil and bolt down
- Fender flares? (low priority)
- Gas Pedal
- EXHAUST

| Quite a few things knocked off the list today. At this point, I could throw in a battery, fuel and start it up! I'll hold off for a bit. Items for next few days are:
still need my panhard bar.
build my bumper
mount a winch
clean up engine, add oil and bolt down
- Fender flares? (low priority)

What's protecting the winch from rocks?

I'd use the 7" and stick the pods behind the original lenses.

| Beginnings of exhaust. Kind of where I am going with it right now. Building a 2 into 1 header. PS: Choke cable is just holding it. Not how it would be ran. | |

What!? Where?... I don't see any pods behind those lenses. Are they bulbs? Either way, I like the 7" light bar better than the pods on the brush guard, but that's only my opinion.

| They are bulbs that fit in the existing sockets. I quoted incorrectly. They are 3000k bulbs. I meant to get the 6000K ones. I did end up with the 7 inch bar. I also finished up the wiring for the winch and for the light bar. Last of the wiring needed will be the hood lights. I ran out of the connectors for it. Items still in work:
still need my panhard bar.
build my bumper
mount a winch
clean up engine, add oil and bolt down
- Fender flares? (low priority)
- Gas Pedal
- EXHAUST (In-work)

| Well exhaust is ran. Not sure how I feel. Not the throaty sound it had. Has a brap sound of a 2 stroke dirt bike right now. Not sure how I feel about that. I think I will back track a little and add a muffler.

| The MM's exhaust sounds pretty good. Always had a deep tone without any mods. So when I ran the tail pipe out the back, it got a low deep tone at idle, and now with that new rear bumper in the way a little, the air coming out hits it hard when I punch it and makes a loud popping sound. It's just a pipe ran right off stock muffler and it sounds great to me. I don't think an oppy muffler would have the same tone though. EDIT: Maybe you could run dual pipes... | |

| I've ran duals on an oppy. Only 1 engine (one in Kal) has ever sounded good with them. This engine likes 2 into one. I just need a resonator of sorts in there to change the tone. | |

| I like how the exhaust is turning out, but I think I would hit my knee and inside of my leg on the switch on the side of the dash all the time, I get speed knots on the inside of my legs from the dash after a hard day of riding anyways. but that might just be me, I kinda hang on and balance myself with the inside of my legs on the dash | |

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing this morning when I was reviewing my pictures ressponding to MM. After work I may go out and move it. No sense stabbing my knee over and over and over. Not sure what I was thinking when I did that.

Not sure what I was thinking when I did that. I agree. I honestly didn't have any major issues with running 2 on the left side of the dash on my red one except for my knee accidentally flipping the switches and turning my lights on when I hit a hard bump . But my brother destroyed 2 of his that way and they were right about where that one is.

| Exhaust is complete. Put my old stack that was on Thor on as a muffler. Not loud and ear piercing now. Sounded ok. While digging around I found the pieces I started cutting for steering spindle gussets. I'll get those on sometimes. Also moved that switch to the dash top. | |
