Henlo there I am Vector as you might have guessed from the name and also the title of the thread. I piddle around with this and that, found this forum while trying to find info on the raggedy old riding mower sitting in my yard. Found an old thread and some info, appears to be a 1989 ish MTD Task Force 139-651-062/95185, don't know what I'm gonna do with it but now that the weather has warmed up and I'm looking for a project I think it's time to resurrect it. Lot of mower races, back roads and hillbilly shenanigans round these parts so the possibilities are endless.
Gonna make a more detailed post about it (rat rod section perhaps?) in the near future, until then here she is! Thing is undead, engine was in pieces when I got it. Apparently was sunk halfway into the ground for a decade or so before I got it. All wiring is missing, starter is missing, gas tank is missing, muffler is missing, engine cowling is missing, air filter is missing, old girl doesn't even care. All I've done to it was put everything back together and bolt a pulley to the top, starts by wrapping a rope around the pulley and giving it a good yank. Drove it around the trailer park a little until the cracked old belts gave out. I figure if the thing wants to live with minimal to no effort it's worth my time to get her rolling again.
This seems to be the place to be for info on wtf ever it is I wanna do so we'll see what becomes of it!

Welcome to the ATLTF! I have 2 of those beasts, one is almost ready to ride (profile pic - just need to find time to finish it) and the other is a parts machine. Feel free to post it here to add to our MTD square body database!
