That whole trans is plastic isn't it. Yikes. Although if all it does is mow . . .

Yes it's all plastic, the wheels weigh more than the trans.
Could basically lift it up with one hand.
Even broke a tab off when disassembling the thing but JB welded it back on.

It felt so flimsy that I was afraid of breaking everything the whole time.

Have seen Husqvarna making all plastic carburettors for a while and while not good practice original replacements are really cheap.
This gear however is not a cheap thing to replace so I don't really get it.

Sorry been MIA a lot lately.  Other life has gotten in the way.



This line was broken in 2 places.   We fixed the first part.  Next day we found out about the second part.  We have a patch piece in for the second part till tomorrow.  Our one pipe piece we had was a little short.  Didn't know if it would work or not.  After a few hours it started weaping a little so not.  I have right sized piece now, so we'll knock that out tomorrow morning.

Monday, waterline break one.
Tuesday, waterline break 2
Friday, right front brake hung up on the van and needed a tow from the other side of the city, approx. 35 miles.

Should be a fairly easy fix.

Then today, Saturday, our oldest dog passed on.  You can see him star in many of my video's following me around then retreating.  This was expected, so it wasn't a snuck up on us thing.


Needless to say, I'm a bit worn out.  My tomorrow plans are to finally fill in the hole the rest of the way from the water leak.

So far, my back has held up.  Thankfully, I was able to dig 90% of the hole with the old 9N and a 3pt scoop.

Man I hate working on water lines. Seems like just when you have them fixed, something else pops up. At least you and I are fortunate enough to have a backhoe

Sorry about your dog Mighty. At least you know he was loved.

Yeah, my father-in-law has the backhoe. He's been super helpful in the water repair.

Got my three wheeler finished up after a resto-mod project that started back in 2017. Finished it back in may, but don’t like getting it dirty anymore lol. Second pic is what I started with

Watched my first tractor pull at the county free fair! Pretty fun show.

I got a somewhat job a four wheeler and another stinkin truck lol. Havent had time for the massey or my muddin craftsman plus ive had my quad it stinkin rips

Figured this is the place to say it, but IM BACK, been a while since i was an active member on here and theres a lot for me to catch up on lol, great to see many of the same people and so many new faces, is the build off still a go this year? there was talk about stopping it and some talk of continuing it

ones with the * on them I have pretty much met almost all the rules to be complete. Only 2 are 100% considered complete at this time. Those have claimed complete, the others I'm waiting for them to announce.

A buddy of mine just dropped 2 tote gote model b minibikes off for me and they cost 20$ a piece they will be a nice little side project once i get all healed up.
And according to the seller the red one runs but not great so should be fun. The sad part is they where gonna scrap these lovely precise of history.

So, one for restoration one for v-twin?

Those are sweet man, nice score! I can't say I've heard of them but they sure look cool!


I also scored a little gem recently myself, a Noma LXi 1540 with AWS! Unfortunately it's a hydro but with a 14hp Vanguard V-Twin and the low low price of $60 (delivered) it's hard to go wrong! The motor runs on spray so I'm going to give the carb a go today and will post pictures later!
