The seat suspension works alot better then I expected. Kind of a pain to figure out the sweet spot to mount them but way better then springs by themselves
Very nice. I dig it.

I sure hope so (that it picks back up)! There's a couple Build Off builds I was excited to follow but not much going on there...
I can't wait to do some riding, mostly all I've really been doing is building but I will say I'm having more fun building LTs/GTs than most anything else I've built and worked on in the past although my 1987 Suzuki ATV with the go kart powerplant was fun to build. I guess I like the challenge of having to modify, customize, fabricate everything and the fact I have to think my way through alot of it so it goes smoothly. They're more of a challenge to ride compared to a ATV or dirtbike which makes it fun as well!
If I thought I could turn a profit on them I'd probably start building them to sell but who's going to want to spend $1500-$2000 on one when they can score a cheap ATV for the same price right!? Lol
You're darn tootin' it stinks! I don't get it, so many people were talking in the winter about getting more done on their tractors when the weather gets nice and there seems to be less happening aside from you and I?! I guess it's up to us to keep the flame burning so others can find their way back! Lol

I will say, it has been pretty tough here. Been a series of 100+ for a couple weeks and the foreseeable future is still 100+.

That's brutal, I can handle the cold better than the heat. We've been really lucky here so far (knock on wood), a few hot days but nothing TOO crazy or extended periods of heat warnings like last summer, that could change though and I expect it will at some point.
I'm afraid we're going to have to do something drastic like tag all of our crew and a few ghosts too to try and get their attention so they get their arses in gear (pun intended)! Lol
That's pretty toasty, how's the humidity where you are? Weather forecast here is saying to expect similar next week bit add a few degrees for humidity. I'm not looking forward to it to say the least
Humidity here is normal 50% and up so days where it's 100F with 80% humidity are absolutely brutal, there's no relief in the shade when it's that's bad! Lol. There are so many bodies of water all around and throughout Ontario though so whaddya do right!? Lol.
Occasionally I get to work on some pretty neat stuff at work. This here is one of two ~5” bore bronze bushings we made for a local company. I didn’t do any of the lathe work turning the diameters, but I did get to drill some mounting and greasing holes, as well as some neat little grease grooves. Everything turned out really well. The vertical grooves were interesting as I had to hand broach them with a tool we made. The bigger of the two bushings had to be done half from either side as the quill of the machine didn’t have enough stroke.
Jobs like this you try not to think about how much money you could possibly waste if you mess up. The material alone for this job was more than I make in a month lol.
