I have picked up a whole pile of stuff in the last couple of months to sell this spring

I think all of this stuff I got for free

- CrappyTire pressure washer
- JD stx 38 (Can't wait to get rid of this guy Small engine repairs [spring 2022] 2429134702 )

And today I picked up a Tecumseh snow king, a compressor minus the motor (Throw the snow king on it?)  and an old generator that the taser juice pump is shot  Sad
The generator is really ancient and is mounted on a piece of plywood so it is probably worthless to anyone but me, but if anyone knows if the taser pump is rebuildable let me know, apparently it just delivers really low voltage...

Will post pics& more details of these guys later this week.

So, haven't really revisited this thread in a while, but I really need some help, I have a white L-160H lawn tractor, 42" deck, hydro, 16hp motor, bit of a piece of junk honestly.
The issue I'm having, if any of you guys have seen this before, is the deck engagement system, instead of having a lever that engages the deck, the deck disengages when you lift it all the way up, the deck slides forward and the belt goes slack. On mine, the belt was shot before I got my hands on it, snapped clean in half. I went on about 4 runs to TSC and couldn't find the right belt, so I finally bought one on amazon, it was the right part number and everything, but even when you put the deck all the way up and it's as far forward as it goes, the belt won't even go on.
So I'm at the point where I have no idea what the heck to do, I've tried every belt one the shelf, the only thing I can think of is that there's something wrong with the deck lift system, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Anyhow, I'm pretty much out of options so if anyone has any idea what's going on here that would be great.

Well, I hate to say this, but I might just have to part this tractor out, pull the engine, park the frame in my parts pile, not really sure what else to do at this point.

Are you positive you are routing the belt correctly? If it’s only 3 pulleys in total then that’s a stupid question. Maybe post up some pics?

I might be able to get some pics, but yes there's only 3 belts in total, so I don't really see any other way to route the belt.
