I have put out some posts in the Facebook interwebs to see if there was interest in a 2022 build-off. So far I haven’t even a nibble. Not sure if we have enough traffic these days to have one.
PROJECTS: Marshal ........................93 Craftsman GT6000 Red Bandit ...................72 Wheel Horse Raider 12 Dirty Rat........................77 Sears Suburban Bowser...........................01 Murray Widebody LT The Green Machine ....1990 Craftsman II GT18 Other projects
I think that site traffic will pick up this winter when shop season starts up again. I’d want to build something and enter, but I have no money, less time than that, and no tractor to enter. I think that if we offer it, people will come though. Just my 2c, but maybe it’s only Monopoly money heh

id enter the build off im not gonna win but hey also i highly doubt it would make compitition spec as i am not super skilled i can certainly try though! alsoo i have a tractor to build and some money to finish it! if we do i wanna build a craftsman gt 6 speed witha honda gx340 and its gonna be dragster
The object is to have fun. Winning would be great, but doing the build is the goal.
I’m not sure what to think of the ‘condition’ of the hobby. Seems that people aren’t as gung-ho as they were a few years ago. I don’t do Facebook or any of the ‘social’ sites at all. They are just not fit for a forum type of interaction, IMO. Nothing flows. On a forum, you can read what you want and read it in any sequence. I learned a lot from this forum by looking through the old threads. It is sad that things are so slow.
I’ll keep trying to post my progress in hopes of helping others.

If i can convince my parents to let me park another tractor in the yard, and if i can get up enough money from selling stuff from this bulk pickup day, i might be in

I am sorry to hear this, I am kind of surprised... the only reason I am not doing it is we just had a baby, and I can barley take a crap let alone modify a new tractor.....
I hope the forums come back around, if not we should move it to face book or something
