| What DWCR Said. Also, maybe post up a pic? Does it have all the tins? Flywheel blades all there? Mouse nest under the shroud? Too hot spark plug? Carb too lean? Low on oil? Gas in the oil? | |

so i start it up right it drives real good or about 1 hour (that is a estimation) then it dies and when if i try to start it up as soon as it dies it takes about 2 mins of cranking before starts but only runs for about 15 mins and then dies but if i let it cool down for about a hour or to after it dies the first time then it just starts right up

| Clean the cylinder walls?
Could be you coil going out, plugged fuel filter, collapsing fuel line or even a gas tank vent obstruction. They all can cause the described.

| Like @mightyraze said with the coil, when it shuts off check for spark. Mouse nests are very common on these so I’d pull the tins and check. If you do have one and that’s what is causing this I’d replace the head gaskets too. The heat makes the head bolts stretch and contract and it might hurt compression that way. Which is the other thing that might cause the shut off, is a lack of compression from the heat expansion. Just my 2c | |
