Alpha Sports LG90 Mini 4 Wheeler

Okay so this was my final attempt at fixing this thing. I put a brand spanking new carb on it and here’s what it does. (Apologies for my frustration in the clip lol)



What do y’all think it could be? I’ll try whatever y’all say cause I’m done fighting with this hunk of scrap.

Fuel petcock perhaps? Bad coil? Is that as long as it runs for at a time? Motor sounds pretty healthy to be honest. My offer still stands btw. Hard to figure stuff out without knowing what's been tested and when

Runs out of gas? Runs out of spark?
Whatever you do, don’t dump it. The suspension and lots of other parts could be useful. I’m keeping an eye on something similar here. If it doesn’t move this spring, I will attempt to get it.

And, I agree. The engine doesn’t sound bad.

Also, maybe be sure no obstructions in your exhaust?

Idk maybe. I’ll try it on reserve. Idk about the coil. Same coil I had on it when I tore it apart in March/April and it ran when I pulled it.

The motor is definitely healthy being that every single part is brand spanking new.

Idk what it’s doing but it’s running out of something. This is just stupid annoying that it won’t even run right with over $800 into it and it’s not even worth that and it’s still a piece of garbage.

I aint gonna scrap it, but for sure I am gonna sell it. Might even part it off if I can’t get a decent chunk of my money back out of it from just selling it.

I think the exhaust is clear. It was just running a month ago for a couple minutes at a time but it would stall at higher rpm and sound like it was locking up. That’s what I’m hoping the carb would fix but that’s apparently not the case.

Welp guys, the inevitable has happened. I got too involved in other projects and lost all interest in this thing and had too much in it and the most reasonable thing to do was to part it out since that is where it's value lies. So the ol' Alpha Sports here has officially rode off into it's last sunset.



Yep. It's a story with a sad ending but it had to be this way. Time to send it off to it's new homes...
