LOL be cool if there was like an old metal desk fan blade up there too looking like an automotive one, but that would be a bit hazardous. LOL

That would be pretty cool actually. Also, with the hood cut and spade bit sticking out on the right hand side, I'm pretty sure we're looking at "hazardous" in the rear view mirror.

I like it, but IMO the front axle is too far in the front! I would move it as far back, so the point of the grill that's sticking the furthest out, is flush with the front of the tires. But it's your build, your Decision, Just wanted to give U an advice what would look better.

Hmmm, I don't know. If I moved it back that far it might ruin the suicide front end look that I'm going for. Also it wouldn't leave any room for the susension setup I wanna try.

hmmmm..... at least I would move them a little bit back, so hat everything would work. The Suspension, and the suicide front end.

AK, this the front end you thinking of installing?  It was the one I was thinking a couple years ago.

This is so True! Fits 1A...

Took a stab at widening the axle today, went pretty well.

Decided to stick a piece of 1/2" flatstock in both halves and weld it to the back inside wall:



Welded it a bit on the inside too, should be plenty sturdy. Then to make it flush on the top and the front I used a big piece of angle steel:



Fit pretty good. I just trimmed the part that stuck out to give it sorta of an artistic angle look, haha.



The front track width will be something like this:



Should be good! Gonna make go-kart style spindles at some point too, so the axle will be about level with the front wheel hubs.

Last thing I did was cut and pound out the old spindles. They were worn out anyways, so they were no good.



Now I can start fresh with some nicer spindles.

If you put a fan on the front, paint the tips red or yellow. Just like on an airplane prop. That would be killer seeing it spinning inside the hood through the holes, LOL.

Just happened to find that little unit while scrap hunting today. Not sure whether I'll use it, but ya never know. I just thought it was funny since Mighty mentioned it earlier, haha.

Thanks!! Yeah sometimes I don't get the e-mail notifications either, most of the time I do though.

That looks promising to me! Hahaha. I already have most of it planned out, so while it might not look like much, I should be able to make something out of this stuff. Well... hopefully anyways.

My guess is he's gonna bolt some stuff to some other stuff and weld some other stuff to other things, and its AK so its going to turn out amazing. That's just my guess.
