| Huh. Never seen a mower like the green one before. Looks like it has a peerless 600 tranny in it. Mabye has a small number tag stamped on somewhere? | |

| The green one has some older Murray vibes to it, never come across one like it before. Check for an ID tag under the hood/seat or dash. Most likely has a Peerless 600 with the H pattern shift. The engine in it looks like a 7-12hp Briggs flathead, similar to the engine that you want to swap over. Also it looks like the original engine had a fuel tank mounted on the engine, the 'new' one does not. | |

| Yeah the grille definitely looks like an older Murray LT, the rest of the body looks pretty unique though. Also it definitely has a Peerless 600 series transaxle as others have said, haha. | Yeah Peerless 600's are really tough, they've got cast iron axle sleeves. I'm sure @AllisKidD21 can verify, he runs several of them in his rigs. Also, the fender section looks like it could be made from the rear of an RER. | |

| I would checkout the old engine before swapping it out, they can usually be made to run again with little effort, save the other one for a backup | |

What are the 2 pedals for? Clutch amd brake, not had chance to see how it all works yet.....probably stamdard fare shared between two pedals rather than one.... Re the headlights, I will go led its just that the panel is quite damaged.... Still can't find another the same to reference for parts, although apart from the bodywork it's all pretty simple to bodge something together that will work!

| I'm sure someone may have seen it by now, but someone (Mike Lamar Titus) posted one just like it in one of my SEARS Tractors groups I frequent as a SEARS. I requested a model # to help out.

ID Tag was on the dash, looking at his pic there are 2 holes there where it should have been. Looks to have been removed.

| Glad I could help. That guy just happened to post his today for sale. Very interesting tractor. Even a toolbox under the seat? Not sure of the year, but I would guess 77? | |

| No idea of the year and yes, there is a toolbox under the seat, it appears to be in remarkable condition considering its age... It probably sounds a bit odd, but I think it is quite a "cute" looking little tractor, Just hope the rear transaxle is ok as parts or a replacement are likely to be difficult to find this side of the pond..
It is currently a few miles away from home, stored at out small woodland awaiting a fair amount of work, I'm not too bothered about originality and will use whatever I can to get it to run reliably as a trailer tug in the woods, the looks however are a must to keep, I now need to try and find a decent headlamp surround moulding as the one present is quite damaged......but now I know the model I can begin a search......
