| Looks pretty neat. Do you have the cylinder head tins though? I wouldn't wanna run it for to long without them or the head won't be getting cooled very well. | Need input about the hood mounted carrier, does it look OK? Is it too long? Too tall? It's kinda mocked up at the moment. | |

| I would shorten it, and maybe lower it or the hood a little. | |

| That's kinda what I was thinking. Lower it about 2 in and shorten it to the end of the hood, the top rails are aluminum and not sure how well my welder will do on in, I do have a spool of flux core aluminum welding wire tho. | |

| yeah I agree with shortening the length and height of the hood rack. Pretty handy to have depending on what you're doing with the machine. | |

| I merged your new thread with this build thread, if you have any questions you can just ask them here instead of starting a different thread. Keeps things neater looking is all. | I'd reinforce the frame around the front axle, where you'd be mounting a bumper, and where the transaxle mounts. | |

| What about the middle or is a slight amount of frame flex OK? | |

| I think a slight amount is okay, if the frame can flex a little bit it can take stress of other things like the front axle and trans, but maybe the better way to go is to add some cross members or reinforce it with c channel or angle iron. | |

| Okay then I'd consider reinforcing the pivot point if you're going to be doing to reinforcement work. | |

| 3/8 or 1/4 in plating? Was thinking 1/4" for the riser and 3/8" at the pivot | |

| 3/8" plate seems like overkill a bit, I think 1/4" would be fine and plenty solid for sure. | OK, thank-you. I went to get the rear shocks & foot brake (for the throttle) off my 1980 Suzuki gs500 and found out someone broke into the garage and wiped it out. tubing, plating (steel and aluminum), my old motorcycle and both of my old lawn tractors. | |

| Can you get a picture of the bottom part with the tabs to go into the frame and what not? I don't have the seat for mine, I'd like to know what they look like so i can make one. | |
