They're only really good for the 2300 unless you got stuff laying around to throw into em like I do.

Ouch. 2300 is basically guaranteed to be salvageable though, so there's that.

Really gotta get on beefing up these spindle arms, had one bend again.

Oh yeah and I have one of the spindle bushings done. Hard to get stuff done in class when he keeps assigning us other junk to do

Got the new bushings in today, steering is a lot tighter now. Way nice.

Found a radiator hose that fits over the carb perfectly. Think I'll put an air filter over the other end of it and use it.

Cleaned up the hose and clamped it down. Found the air box I have will fit snugly over the end, put two screws in the hose so the air box won't walk off. Love it when things work out like this.

I love it when a plan falls together like that too.

I'm just noticing this.  Is there a reason why the spark plug wire is so long?

Had a big ice storm the other day, dead tree in the back yard dropped some branches. Dragged them up to the house with Budgie.

MTD - "Budgie" - Page 10 20181113

Got a few sticks with the barrel sled too.
MTD - "Budgie" - Page 10 20181114

Intake worked fine. I noticed that while she wasn't lacking power (in lower gears) the tires were trying to spin. I might put my wheel weights on, they should be able to be put in the inside of the wheels so they're out of the way too, so that's pretty convenient.

A rear rack on this one too?  Are you still on the fence about the rear rack on MUTT?  Maybe you could move it to this machine?

The one from mutt would be way too big for this one lol. Mutt's has proven useful enough, I think it'll stay. I just want a bit of storage on this thing.

Oh, and a hitch plate like on mutt is really in order. Its nice to have something above stock height for skidding logs

In keeping with your budgie theme maybe you can find a 50 cal ammo can or two at a sale and bolt them on the relatively flat fenders.  Some kind of tow point up high sounds good too.  Maybe an old hook welded to some kind of steel.

If I did something like that I'd have to support the fenders lol. They're pretty weak and have a tendency to bend down if I put a lot of weight on them
