Oooh nice!!!! Shouldn't take too much to get it running. Just put some oil in the cylinder before you try to start it to lube up the rings if it's been sitting for awhile . Im jealous , the need to roll coal is real lol

Such an nice Engine I need that also! This Thing makes your JD much greater, than the old Kohler. YOU DEFINATELY NEED A WELDER !!!! Wish it to your Birthday or so. You can remove the crank, and bring them to a machine shop, and the guys there weld them up, and turn them down to the right Diameter, and maybe cut in a keeway or you use the angle grinder. Do'nt forget to pull the Trans, put in new grease, or Oil and overhaul it, and the most important: Diff-Locking!

I wonder if the intake heater just needs to be turn on like glow plugs for 15 seconds before you start it or does it need to be on some kind of thermostat that turns it off once the engine is up to operating temperature. We have one truck at work with an intake heater and the light on the dash only comes on prior to starting the engine, then it turns off.

Yeah that be the plan!  Yep, diff lock, 27" ags, diesel engine!

Huh, IDK. Need to download the instructions.  I know in the F-350, you have to put it in the run position for about 5 seconds and then start it, or else it will just turn over for 5 seconds longer and waste the battery.

The fords have a glow plug light. Turn the key to on, wait for the light to go off, and crank it over

Ours doesn't.  Looked for it because I was told it would, and I can't find it.

Okay guyguys, soso the original stickersstickers arare super dry and crackcracked, and I would like to replace tthem, only Itonl tthink it'll costcost me ababoutabout $200 to buy them, becausbecause people think thethey are madmade of gogold.  Any tiptips on how to restore them? Also I hhave no clue why thethe forum is doing thisthis whenever I type onon momobile, aand it getgets worse when I hit backspace so I'I'm not even going to botbother.

old stickers are a pain to work with. idk if they are salvageable but you could clear coat them multiple times to stop the degration.

yeah my phone does that as well so I stopped posting on it as it is so annoying.( got out the good ole computer lol)

Well it's either that or spend about $120 on just the stickers on the side of the hood that say "John Deere 110".

Use some adhesive foil in yellow and green. On the backside, you have a white area, so you can paint your letters and cut them out, and make your own decals for cheap. The same i want to do on my mower. It's a lot of work, but woth it, because you can save a lot of money.

I have right now no Problems with my muffler about getting the fumes in my face, IDK if diesel fumes smell horrible, but  if they are not worse than gas, you should make your Exhaust like mine, but without the Glasspack,you need Noise!

If he can run veggie oil it would small like french fries.
Then he will be hungry all the time.

I wouldn't worry about stickers now.  I would just get it running and driving so you can use it.  Maybe down the road you can save up some money and buy a decal kit.
