I need the 12V socket for emergency. I have a 12V electric winch, you can add to your trailer hitch, and to power it, i need this power outlet.

That's Germany, everything is very expensive and becaus i also think it's a very handy feature, i will put them in. A Single socket were 10$ + shipping, so i decided to get this one.

| New Ignition LockThe stock Ignition lock were one of those old INDAK 5 terminal ones. I dont like them, because the keys can break so fast on them, and the keys are very easy to copy. And the old one has no light terminals. so i got this one (again were it cheaper with shipping from the US than buying one in G ) I think, it will do good in my mower. Also want to relocate it, because the old place is not very good. Here you can see the new location of the Ignition Lock ( the old one were down where i had welded some metal in) and down in the middle i want to install my 12V with USB Socket. | |

| Are you right or left handed? I like my key switches on the right side because I'm right handed.
I have that same key switch on my John Deere. Here's the problem, if you're trying to be discrete when starting up your tractor at night around people or you don't want to give your location away, your lights will flash when you start your tractor. Not a big deal most of the time, but it's convienent having one switch for everything.

I dont Understand the sense of flashing lights while starting, because you dont have enough power to crank the engine if your battery is empty. About the Problem with the Location i dont worry, because my Mower will be so loud, you can hear it from Germany to the USA I ca'nt put the lock on the right side, the Varidrive selector would hit it. Stock were it also on the left side.

Not really something, o would worry about. So i can see, if anyone will try to steal my mower. Also want to install a hidden kill switch

| You did a pulley swap on the vari drive I see. On my red riding mower I built up years ago like you are doing now, I had to put an idler pulley in the same spot to keep the belt off the linkage too. I also had to put a double pulley tensioner on it too. Only because I used the stock belt size, which was too big after the pulley swap and had no idea on where to get a belt at the time. With the addition of 2 more idlers in the setup and on the trans belt, the belt slipped in high/high gear. The belt was too stiff to go around it all and the little spring couldn't pull the belt tight with the addition of the second pulley on the tensioner. Should have worked right if I didn't have the second pulley on the trans belt and on the tensioner. If you find that the belt is slipping, I would suggest to put the second pulley on the same side as the added pulley, but on the outside of the belt, after the 1st added pulley and pushing the belt into the trans pulley for more wrap around surface area on the trans pulley, and the pulley should be stationary.
I redid mine and put the stock size pulley back on the trans too go slower for cutting the grass. Top speed is 9 mph too.

- Your welcome.
Did you figure out how to do the second shifter for the transaxle? Mine is under the seat for now. I want to fit the 2nd shifter where the F N R shifter were. To do that right (reverse shifter backwards, 6th gear shifter forward) i need a pivot point, and some linkages. I had tried the shifter earlier (you can look a few contributions earlier) but i need to redo it, because it will hit the 2nd idler pulley and the belt

| Maybe bring the shifter rod straight up and through the fender and make the linkage on the outside of the fender cover. Pretty cramp in there now. Probably going to have to notch the belt tensioner arm too because it looks like it might hit the shifter rod for the transaxle when shifting gears. | |
