Hey @TheBeal !  These back tires you found for me look awesome when they're mounted up.  I love how this tractor feels when I'm sitting in the seat.

with the new tires, the Mud Rat looks very good. Only the tiny Engine looks like it has'nt enough power.

For having 1 1/8" axles those tires aren't very aggressive........

Seeing this build on the live stream last night, makes me super excited for you! Hope she is finished in time for Haspin! How fast do you plan for it to go?

Haspin doesn't seem too likely at this point, but I'm looking forward to getting my front end welded up.  I should do a live stream of that once I get to the assembly phase of it.

Oh yes please! IDK why but live streams are so much fun, especially when the channel owner has a small sub count and they actually pay attention to you lol.

This thing is super cool looking. I always liked the look of those narrow wheel horse bodys that the older ones had. You could make it for Haspin if you pushed it, I built my simplicity in about 4 months from scratch and you've already got a roller there pretty much. Anyway, looking good!

when is the engine going to be test fired? mabye a test drive lol

@biggasmowers The guy started up the engine for me when I bought it a couple months back.  It ran pretty well.  In its previous life it was a log splitter motor.  I plan on taking the governor out of it and putting some heavier valve springs in it.

@mr.modified  Thanks your interest and compliments on my build off tractor.  Your tractors have inspired me in many ways, I enjoyed reading through your build threads and watching your videos. Unfortunately, there's no way this tractor is making it to Haspin this year with the amount of hours I work and I'm already trying to get two machines ready for Haspin.  I'm not rushing this build.  I have a lot of engineering and fabrication work to do with the double triangulated four link front suspension, custom front axle, and the steering system with this set up.  It's going to take a lot of time and patience that I'm running thin on these days but I won't give up on this project.

Minor update:  I bought some 1.5" wheels spacers for this rig.  I'm looking forward to seeing the tractor's new stance when I finally get them on.  I think I'll eventually paint them black to match the transaxle.

Well a long time has passed since I've touched this build, but today I put the 1.5" rear wheel spacers on!

I definitely like the wider stance and the extra clearance between the fenders and the tires.  The front end is 4-5 inches narrower than the rear but not a foot narrower like the camera is making it look like in the pictures.
