| Well, steering needs more adjustments, probably new front tires, and a new shifter arm to try and get my shift pattern back lined up.
This frame doesn’t give me a whole lot of options really. I will be getting an AYP square body sometime and building the CraftsmanQuad mk2...basically a mowron clone but with the controls set the way I like and a vtwin instead of an oppy
I think the CQ is nearing completion. I’ll get it to qualify as done (wiring harness, lights, and touch up the paint) and funds/effort will go into the mk2 and my vehicles

| Cool. Personally I think opposed twin are far more reliable than v twins, less to go wrong with the self balancing pistions, pressure or splash lubed, and no rocker arms to lessen up and med with the valves. Also the heads can be easily ported and polished and homemade gaskets can be used for higher compression. Parts are also more available | |

Even if they look kinda bad, I think there's enough area there to hold it. Time will tell I guess. I think he could have used some more prep in some places.

| Yep. I presume you have a cheap 80a welder, so I think the highest heat setting and the wire speed up like 1/4 of the way should do. You can tune it from there. There's no reason to have the heat down unless you're welding really thin stuff. | |

| Yeah on that welder the biggest thing for better welds is just welding wider beads and moving in a slow pattern but holding the edges longer . I made some nice welds on 3/8" steel to 1/8" steel with a very clean even bead. | |

| Ok so while @mightyraze is spamming everyone’s build thread, I figured I’d update mine. Decided to swap in a cast iron front axle and will be swapping in a gen 2 craftsman steering setup soon as well. It seems I popped one of my knobbies at haspin, so I’ll patch that whenever I feel like doing it. I’ll run turfs for now, planning on driving it to work Friday. No pics for now, it’s sitting on jackstands with no front wheels, one flat back tire, and one good back tire | |

| Maybe get some new tires that aren't 2plys? Lol. People seem to forget about plys when buying tires.
Why not save the 2g steering for your next build? Murray steering would be more fitting for this build.
