| That sounds so cool! If I were you, I'd wait 6 days for the build-off to start, something like that is bound to be popular! | |

| What kind of Peerless 900 do you have? I have a 920, it's 41 years old, been abused it's whole life up to last year (oil was really low and NEVER changed), and I cleaned it up, put fresh oil in it and it's good as new. They are invincible! Also great for pulley swaps because reverse is slower than most trannies, and you don't want to go 10 mph in reverse, and that's what I was doing with the original tranny. | |

| I had a 920 in the CQ till I demolished third gear. I promise you they aren’t invincible lol, and doc has split many 900 cases. Just don’t ride it like you’re angry at it and it oughta hold up fine. Lawnflite...that’s MTD right? Should’ve come with a vari-drive from the factory I think | |

| Lol! Good tips for that is heat it up, let it cool down, spray Liquid Wrench on it (or WD40, but preferable Liquid Wrench), and then put the pulley between 2 boards like in the below picture: Then take a screw driver, center it in the pulley, and tap on the screw driver. Put some kind of pillows under the tranny so that you don't bust it when it falls. After that, I usually clean the shaft up with sand paper to get the rust off. Makes it easier next time. | |

| Ah yes I remember now. They’re the same machine as a ford. I thought of lawnflite when I saw lawn boy. Lawnflite is made by MTD so that’s where my confusion came from. May bad | |

Your welcome! Just be sure not to warm up the shaft after you spray flammable liquid on it, ! | |
