Whats cooler than a Mowercyle? lol loud , reasonably fast and light weight with huge front tire and smaller rear mud tire. I have an engine , donor frame ,tires, sprockets , hubs , chain, axle stock, bearing housings , and lots of random parts

I just need clearance from @Doug, and i will put a parts pile together.

You would need at least 3 wheels.  Also, the frame may be iffy.

The frame would be a reinforced mower frame , so the frame should qualify i would think .

Yeah, shouldn't be too hard.  If you look around they actually make 3 wheel mowers, so you can change the back wheels and put a wheelie bar (don't know if that would count as a third point of contact).



BTW, I've changed a lot about the way I'm going to make it, now that I have some competition I'm gonna keep it to myself until the time comes to make it.

I have seen those mowers, but the design i want to do is a lot different. those are very interesting mowers tho, three speed chain drive front tire.

I think they've made those mowers for a long time, and still do. Wonder what the drivetrain is like on them. Would definitely be an interesting start to a build!

I'd say go for it!!!

That might look kinda cool. It would have ground clearance comparable to a go-kart so you could do some ripping around on and off road with mean looking tires. Sounds good to me Rich.

What i was asking is if it will fit the rules, with the wheelie bar being the third point of ground contact. I will get the parts together , but its pointless to even enter it if a wheelie bar does not comply with the contact rule.

A wheelie bar isnt considered a point of contact. If its two wheels and a wheelie bar, its a bike.

It sounds awesome but wont be considered.

Maybe you can do a trike? With two wheels in the front would be cool.

I have received word that doc could be entering a Honda 3813 in the buildoff. Be warned.

He's highly thinking about it.  But I think he is going to.  Last summer he said he had 2 possible builds for this year.
