i would just like to thank everyone for all the good feed back and all the support you guys give me. it is always rewarding when you put your time and effort into a build and some people love it just as much as you do!
this is going to be my final update for my 2017 build off entrant before the threads are locked
it has been a hard working two months to get this thing from a bone stock, rusty, and beat up horse to the monster of a unicorn it is today
putting the rubber tread plate over the shifter plate was the final step to the wheel horse build and now i can say it is 100% complete
make sure you subscribe to my youtube page so you can watch the video of this monster in the woods this sunday!
all in all the wheel horse meets the requirements 100% and is completely finished, make sure you check out the reveal video up there^^^^^^ make sure you subscribe to the youtube channel!
i would aslo like to wish all of my competitors the best of luck, they are all awesome machines! and you all have done a wonderful job on your builds
lastly but not least, i hope i have won your votes, with the short build time, attention to detail, and the shear fact of being one cool machine! VOTE FOR REDZZ02 and put me in first place! thank you to everyone and may the best mower win!!!!!!!!

I'm glad to see it back. I see you have different rear tires on it. The Vamps you had on it before looked like they were stretch fitted on a really wide rim. It seemed like you lost some diameter because of it. Out of curiosity what are the tires you have on it now?

@AllisKidD21 a bearing has been shot along with seals so it just howls super loud every time you let out the clutch, and the oil drains out of it in a few days
@mowerjunkie03 The rears were on wider wheels, the fronts are still the same. The rear tires that are on it now are 27x10s? I do believe I bought a full set of them and they were originally going to be the tires that ended up on the horse, but the vampires just looked so much cooler. Not too sure what I’ll do with the 27s as I already have different Set of tires

Do you still get decent enough steering with the big front wheels? I would imagine that's the reason you want to widen the front axle out a bit. Kinda too bad that it's an issue with these things because the look is decent with the bigger tires and the stock width and wheelbase. Just that they don't clear the frame.
@mr.modified it actually turns full lock or pretty darn close to full lock, I want to go wider because I’m going to an even larger tire so it won’t be able to fully turn anymore. Along with I want to put a winch on it and the tires hit the winch while turning, so I’m hoping to be able to widen it an inch or two and be able to stuff a winch in there, we’ll see though I still probably won’t be able to since I am going to a much larger tire. Also a reason for widening is to make it even more stable it’s a flat bog tractor but your not always in a flat and open area to play in the mud

No match for the light weight super alloy 633a case lol
Actually I never saw one of those out before. They are kinda interesting with all those square angles.
I always liked the look of a Horse trans. So when asked the question I always so that 633a is the best horizontal imput, belt driven GT trans because of aluminum case, easy to lock diffs, needle bearings for all spinning components, dual range. But I know very little of the dual range wheelhorse transaxles. What are the diff carriers like? bearings or bushing? Etc

In my opinion the only thing that comes close to the wheel horse is the simplicity 3 speed. but Id still give the edge to wheel horse trans. I put the 2300 right behind the horse trans, because they are cast iron case and the first/reverse gear has a proper shift fork unlike the 633a plus they have a wider and better supported final drive gear than the 633 and a much stronger differential.

2nd gear is in a bad location causing it to pop out of gear sometimes I've heard.

That's true, it's kinda sketchy sometimes. Some manufacturers like John Deere and Massey had a little flip-ober lockout for first gear that makes it a lot easier, other than that you are kinda stuck guessing where 2nd is, haha.
Whoops.. back on topic!

@AllisKidD21 knowing where 2nd isn't the issue. It just likes popping on of that gear in to neutral. Normally that's a good gear to ride trails in depending on your pulley swap.

Well it’s time to update this build thread, as it’s time to rebuild this tractor AGAIN
Time for a Turbo charged 20hp V-Twin
Last time I left off on this thread, I was in the middle of rebuilding this tractor. I was really dragging my butt on getting it done, life crept up like always and I had different priorities, but thanks to everyone that told me I had to bring it to scenic trails this past nov 14th. So I threw it together!
@CraftsmanQuad19 actually took home “king of the bog” award on the Sears Killer at scenic trails He is also the amazing person that went and picked up my unicorn of an engine and brought it to me!

-18hp vanguard with ec dual valve springs, ec retainers, advanced timing -28x9.5-12 highlifter outlaw tires on the rear, 12” home brew beadlock wheels -27x9-12 blackdiamond sti front tires -welded diff wheel horse 8 speed transaxle -6”-6” pulleys
As of today here are the plans for the rebuild AGAIN
-20hp Punsun ht812d V Twin Diesel engine -rhb31 Ching Chong turbo -30x10-12 interco Aqua Torques on home Brew bead lock wheels -28x9.5-12 high lifter outlaws on home brew fake beadlock wheels -3500lb winch -new front bumper -custom swept front axle build -better under glow and led lights -reinforce the rear of the frame
And possibly do a fully enclosed belt system that can not get wet, with a jack shaft that runs chain and sprockets down to the transaxle
