| Might be hard to find what your looking for... Check you local small engine shops, they might have some old Tec stuff still... otherwise ebay might have to be your friend.
If it comes down to it, you could make a gasket out of a piece of copper(?)

| Well I found the gasket on sears parts direct, who also gives the part number for partstree.com. The only problem with that is that sears uses that stupid 143 number instead of the actual model number. After looking at some diagrams it kinda looks like a H60, Especially since it doesn't have a primer that I saw on the HSK40s. | |

| Looks like tecumseh to me. I've heard sears had some engines made special for them with odd sizes in certain things, so that you would have to order replacement parts from them. Not sure how true that is, but seems possible if they have a special number on their engines made for their tractors. That looks like the original engine to me, or at least, same model that it came with.
Is the gasket big bucks? Could give it a try.

It's like $7, $14 after shipping so i'll give it a try. It should fix the "leakage" i'm having.

| I got a manual from my Welding/auto teacher for the torque specs on the head. He showed me there's a ID number conversion in the back of the book, the engine's really an H70. If anyone with a Sears needs a ID number converted let me know and I'd be happy to find it for you. | |
