| Yikes! Performance parts for an Onan? Hate to see how much those would be. Sorry, it's a good engine as long as it runs. Sorry I dog a little on them. My 77 Suburban has an 18hp one and it has been a pain in my rear. Heres mine. It's currently nicknamed Thor. | |

| nice tractor I know a Harley Davidson ignition coil will work on them and if you make a bracket for the points you can use Chevrolet points off like a 72 nova which is what I use on my 12hp but the carb is the worst part which is why I am having a brand new intake manifold machined so I can use a carb off of a old kohler | |

| With that coil if you would make the bracket which is real easy for the gm points you wouldn't have any fire trouble because the gm points will never go bad but you will have use two stock condensers or 1high performance condenser | |

| I rember when I had my onan 18 hp in my Sears I always found parts I wanted for it at some pulling cub cadet sight they had everything I had anted ignition wise and fuel pumps and such but I never really found any internal performance parts you could probably find a place to send you can to get ground though | |
