That's a good idea. Instead of that air going out the side of the blower shroud and going nowhere, it could be put to better use by blowing more air over the head to help keep it cool.

I think thicker oil would help. I'll shim the input gear correctly too eventually, that should help. These trans have straight cut gears so there will always be some whine.

Maybe I'll just put music over the videos lol

Dude it’s like you looked at my playlist. I want to go see FFDP at some point, and am hoping to see Metallica next weekend (sorry rich). I went to a disturbed, alter bridge, breaking Benjamin, and st Asonia concert a couple summers ago. That was a lot of fun

I would love to go to any of those concerts! Yeah hard metal is one of my favorites , makes me think I have a wild side

I'm going to see Metallica next March in Nashville. Maybe Slayer in August. I love thrash metal. Not so much nu-metal. Punk is good too. I really like anything that sounds good lol.

I used to listen to Ride the Lightning almost everyday.  I usually listen to one of their albums about once a week.

I have all of their albums on my phone lol, they're all I listen to in the shop. Plus on the way to school. And from school. And during school. And like, any other time of the day. It's just great music lol. Even some of the isolated instrumental tracks ripped from guitar hero are regular listens for me

So much for getting the length for this shaft. Still have the other dimensions at least. Drilled out the pin, then drilled the actual shaft a 64th underside. Still broke through though.

Oh yeah, and that vacuum cleaner hose is what I'm using for a snorkel hose.

Yeep! Flexible intake, so if you go in deep you can hold the stretchy hose above your head ?

I was just going for the stretchy hose because I could stick the intake like anywhere under the hood. Lot easier to deal with than say, PVC. But worst case scenario I guess I could do that lol.

A little air box with a filter bolted to the underside of the hood would be kinda neat. Like mr.mod had with his Simplicity but on the inside of the hood. You could just mount it close to the hood pivot point so you could open the hood without stretching the hose. Just an idea, haha. Either way I'm sure it'll be pretty cool!

Yeah something like that would be good. We'll see what I come up with.
