Kid from KY

Hey everybody! I'm Rich Schoonover III. New to the forums, but not to off roading lawn tractors. I have 2 Snapper LT16s, one repowered with a 5hp Briggs (the crawler) and one with the stock 16hp Briggs oppy. My main tractor is a Craftsman GT3000 with an Briggs 18hp oppy and Peerless 820 (5" to 5" pulley swap). 26x10-12 Kenda Executioners, 18x6.50-8 turfs on front, in process of building new front axle. All the little yada yada yada mods. Anywho, I'm 14, and live in Lewisburg, KY. One question for the admins here, how can I get an avatar/ profile pic? Thanks, Rich

Welcome! I recently re-did the front axle on my MTD, it's usually a good idea for a cheaper tractor. Is your front axle cast?

No, mine was the lighter stamped front axle that the left spindle ripped outta. New one is box steel and steering knuckles instead of J spindles. Hope to be done with it this weekend
