| I run a 4.5 in the front and a 7 in the back, it gets me up to 10mph but it depends on your gearing | |

| I have read a lot of people like a 1:1 ratio with their pulleys. I am currently running a 4.5 front and 6 on the rear. I get about 14mph top end, but still can creep with power in the lower gears. | |

| Depends what you want to do with it. For general mudding/off-roading 1:1 is usually the 'middle spot' for most transaxles. Gives you decent speed (14-18ish) and pretty good torque in 1st gear. | |

| i cant make the front bigger due to the clutch and the clutch is a good strong set up (lt1000 craftsman 2007) so im stuck with the 2.5 or 3 inch i got but the rear i need to change up (i do not want to do a 1;1 ratio to much strain on the engine for power)

| Too much strain? Nah. A 1:1 is a perfect area for moderate speed and torque. For what you have, a 5" rear would be best, or possibly 4" for more speed. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Yeah, especially if you have a 14hp engine. | |

| Even 12hp engines could handle it. Anything lower than, say 10hp, might have some issues, but 14hp is plenty. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures
