My snaper lt 12 finaly S!@# the bed and i picked up a new mower. It is a Craftsman lt 1000 and i can't tell the chasy modle number but the kolher engne is a 2001. It has a 17hp ohv single and the normal 6 speed. my friend wants my old snaper's engine and possibly do a drive train swap to his mower. I jist got the crafsman today and i have some ideas. i plan on to at least:
weld the dif
pully swap
tires
transplant my gas peddle
I am tempted to do a subaru paint theme (wrc blue body gold rims subaru badge and wrx badge). in June i am going to my uncles house in northern Mane and he is giving me about 1200$ in "old" atv tires of different treds off his Honda atv.
I am temped to do a brigs swap from the local lawnmower junk yard, because i haft to go there anyway for the sifter guide plate thing (you will notice it missing)
please feel free to comment recommendations or ideas.
(note i have not yet removed the mower deck yet)
