| Rain today. That means soaking wet butt next time I ride the tractor. So, I'm looking to either replace the seat or get a nice waterproof cover. I see a seat from ASC for a good price, actually cheaper than some covers! It's urethane foam and has a drain hole too. Just wondering about the high-back vs. a low-back. There's also this one from Northern Tool, but it doesn't look as weatherproof. Any preferences out there? | |

| All of my junk has the old steel seats. Not too comfortable. I would think the low back would have a sportier look though. For rough terrain and off road conditions, shouldn't really need the high back all that much. At least that's what I would think. I think I'm going with some sort of cushion for my next build. | |

| Personally I like a high backed seat much better than the lower backed ones. Plus that first one seems much more higher quality. | |

| High back good for those long cross country runs. Yeah that top pic does look like tougher material though. | |

| I like a nice guy back even though I don't have one the one on creepy crawlers it's pretty comfortable and when you're climbing nose steeper hill and riding wheelies you don't have to worry about sliding off the back | |

| i personally prefer the tall back as they keep you in your seat better off road, and helps keep a part of your back from being caoted in mud. Just personal opinion. And the tall back one looks to be made of a better material. | |

| Found this one as well. A little cheaper, larger butt area (not that I need it) and a slightly lower back. The 4 reviews were positive and they said it was good construction. I think I'll get the first one that I posted, but wanted to put this one up in case anyone was looking for seats like I am. | |

| I honestly havnt drove something with a tall back to tell you whats better but i sure do like my short seat. i kinda think it makes bailing easier, makes the look of the tractor good. | |

| I always liked short back seats, till I got a nice tall back one, now I cant say enough good about em. I still think low back look cooler, but high back is much more comfy especially if you ride for more than a half hour or so. I dont think its any harder to bail off a higher back seat, as I bail to the sides not off the back..... | |
