1968 Ford F800 My mini Tank

heres my 1968 f800 i bought it for $1400 it has a 391 industrial engine

Trying to get it started

the 391

found out the starter was locked up so i tapped it with a hammer and it wouldnt go.

took a picture of the underside while i was under there.


Radio still works too. look at the sticker

and the coolest thing of al the tool box.

pulled the starter out

it doesn't even make a noise time for a new one

Bam went to the auto parts store and got a starter and a battery.

replaced the battery mashed the fuel pump with a empty can of carb cleaner to get it to work drained fuel tanks and sanded the points and she fired right up. sorry about this being a long post i didnt know of anyother way of doing it because i think every aspect of this truck is cool and i wanted you guys to see it. well i plan on using the truck to tow home rigs that i buy. and maybe start a little business with it im currently looking for a 18ft car trailer and a flat tow bar for my truck. and i was thinking about mounting a 12,000lb winch to the front of the truck. i dont think ill be pulling any semi trailers with it lol but you never know.

The thing is in pretty good shape really. Even the interior. Usually, they're all rusted up.

that truck is really Cool. now you need to get a trailer and tow your truck to Haspen next year.
