Front pulley swap

So I've been looking all over YouTube and this forum... But can't find anything about it. How do you swap your front pulley to something other than the mower deck pulley?

pretty sure you have to use the mower deck pulley unless you get all mechanical and stuff

i don't mind getting mechanical... Just I don't know what to do to swap it...

well ya see, you can cut some stuff and weld some stuff put it together and hope it works.


pretty sure you would have to cut the old drive pulley out and weld a new one in there putting it exactly how it looked from the factory because if its a lil higher or lil lower then original then you gunna have belt issues

dont take no word from me let one of these other folks come in and tell you how to do it bcuz thats just how we do stuff in my garage it dont gotta work forever aslong as it works now

You can put any pulley on if its the right shaft size and will physically fit under the chassis. Also make sure new pulley is rated for the right rpm.
