Surgery Hurts

Hey guys, I just got my shoulder surgery yesterday at 12:30 and all went good, I had torn my labrum worse than what the surgeon had seen but he was able to fix it. I have 3 anchors holding the front in place and 2 in the back. I can't sleep right now because the pain meds completely wore off before my alarm woke me up (it's 2 am here). Tomorrow is my first physical therapy appointment so I spent the night here in Gainesville in a hotel. It'll be a good amount of time before I can get back to working on my Ford mower but she is almost done so when I'm good to go I'll be riding her around!

Ouch! hope you get better soon. my aunt cut her fingers off while helping my uncle in the machine shop, so she has lots of operations to put her hand back together. right now her hand is attached to her leg so it grows blood vessels, (they where torn off), so you aren't that bad off. but still, being laid up is not fun. hopefully you recover fast! Do you have to do school while you recover?

Hotel food? Aw right!

Yes I am going to school (I can't write anything though) and I don't have much pain in the shoulder anymore. I got my stitches out yesterday and therapy has been very easy so far minus the first day.

thanks. I'm not hurting anymore but I am bored out of my mind not being able to workout/run or weld. I cant finish the Ford for a while because of that.

lol i say you are bored outta your mind, takes time to heel 100% so sit back try to keep sane and relax find something to do maybe some tv shows or road kill shows lol

I got out of surgery a couple hours ago and so far I've been fine due to the nerve block that UF uses.
