| For me, projects are pretty personal. What I build, is a function of what I have, what I can get, and what I want. I know what I want. What do you want? | |

| Well I want something that runs lol, Easy on gas, cheap to build, and something that exceeds my expectations when offroading.
I like the 2 wheel tractor but the part that i don't like is that it is walk behind and I mean who wants to walk the whole time offroading lol? I guess it ist really any different then push mowing a big area. Its also its geared alittle to high so it wears you out quick.

| I agree with Doc, but seing he did his own brainstorming post. I know what you mean aswell. But! Atleast show us what you have to work with, what parts you can get. And so on so forth - Then we can easier give you ideas. | |

| Well the parts I have around are, 3 motors 6.5hp, 8hp and a 14hp with electric start. 1 transmission 3spd from the two wheel tractor. 48L x 18W frame.
The standard junk pile, And if I need to I can use the parts from the Allis chalmers. As it sits right now its a parts tractor.
Also got random parts lying around, Sheet metel, 55gal drum, tiller part, pervious tractor parts and a couple sets of tires. Even truck tires.

| Here are a couple pics of the stuff I have lying around. I have more on the other side of the barn and in my shed. Scrape pile. And if I need to I can use the parts off of the two wheel tractor. | |

| Build a yard clearer. I used my tractor the other day to tear up about 50 palmetto bushes. I just wish I would have had more torque it would have taken 1 hour less if I had less wheel spin and more torque. You could advertise as a yard cleaner and charge for your services (i.e. Having a good ass time on your tractor) | |

I actually thought about something like that just gotta figure out how to put it together with the parts I have, it would work for the two wheel tractor because that thing has the pulling power, Ill look into that.

I dont have the budget for a diesel swap lol, 600 bucks just for the motor, plus buying a welder and buying everything i need for the 3 point set up, Out of my budget. But the plowing idea i can do along with the garden tilling.

| All you have to do to your two wheeled setup is have a sort of trailer behind it with two wheels and a seat. Like this strange snowmobile from the 70's. The bolens hus-ski. Then you have a cool front wheel drive go kart/tractor type thing. Just have to be kind of careful driving it, I imagine handling isn't too good at anything faster than jogging speed. You could make a flat plate deal instead of a seat and stand on it too, like they have for walk behind mowers. In fact, you could put another two wheels in front of your drive wheels and make extended tire chains like tracks to go around them. Whether you use it in snow or not, tracks would still be good since front wheel drive isn't all that great for traction. I always wanted to chain a couple engines together on something too, didn't get to it yet. Bolens Hus-Ski Model T ford with snowmobile kit Twin 5hp briggs minibike | |

| Very interesting, Gives me an idea, I can build it to be somthing like the bolens you have there, i dont know about adding tracks but i probably build it and just keep it the single two wheel set up. But tracks would be very cool i just dont have another set of tires and rims and i dont have any tracks laying around, or the materls needed to build the track set up, Ill write that down for a future mod. As for now i can build somthing like whats on a walk behind mower, or maybe even build a sulky. | |
