| Got to work on it for a bit tonight. Pulled the pull start off the diesel and modified the flange from the Kohler to bolt onto the Diesel. Bored out the hole on the flange using a step bit. [IMG] [/IMG] Here is the diesel without a pull start. Put a stud in the flywheel to act as a keyway for the flange. | |

| thats going to be awesome and what direction do the kohler engines turn i can't remember. and i have a cub and i never checked lol. And once i put a motor in a cub not remembering kohlers turn the opposite way and i had 3 speeds reverse and 1 speed forward it was hilarious i almost wanted to turn the seat around and drive it backwards. | |

| Well we passed the point of no return tonight. The tractor is officially ruined from this point forward. I cut the frame, big time. Motor is STILL too tall. Driveshaft angles up. Trying to clear the hood is a complete joke. Going to go to tractor supply and try to get some u-joints and PTO shaft to make a new driveshaft that can angle to adjust for the height difference. Going to have to widen and reinforce the frame, which I expected. The hood will have to be "notched" on the driver's side. It's fine on the passenger because that muffler is coming off when the turbo goes on. | |

| Here is the driveshaft goodness. I forgot to take a picture of it out of the tractor, and I wasn't removing it again. It's in the video though. It's made from steering U-joints from a Toyota Four Runner and the stock Cub shaft. | |
