Started something new today. Picked up this 1966 Cub Cadet 123 Hydro last week. I traded a running 12hp Kohler motor for it. The motor in the tractor, also a 12hp Kohler, has bad valves and almost no compression.

Well I tore the motor and front crap off the cub, and the Ebay parts started showing up.
Here is the shaft-drive that went to the old motor. Old cubs do not use any belts, they are direct drive either with a clutch, or this one has a hydro unit.

And the other important package came from ebay. It's like Christmas in June!
This turbo came with the optional flange kit, which will make things easier. Every flange for the turbo, even the oil feed and return, and all the gaskets for each flange.

Bud your starting your motor wrong gonna burn up your starter. I had to look it up my first time but when you start it by hand or with the electric you need to pull the cord till it comes to the compression stroke then push down the decompression lever then give it a good yank or turn the key. Remember these small diesels dont get started like a electric if it doesnt start on the first key turn then repeat till it does.
