2002 Murray "Swamp Pro"

I just bought a Murray wide body yesterday for a good price. It has a 12.5 Briggs flatty and still is in factory setting but soon I'm going to pulley swap it. Hood is the courtesy of k2500life . Also k2500life Murray mudder too in the pic.

Cool cage. I'm into the intricate buggy cages on YouTube, or like mud kings Murray engine cage is badass. Yours does the trick, just looks like you need a new hinge and latch.

Looks bent.

Looking at it from the back. it looks like the right side is squared off, all the way across. But the left side looks bent up under.

Is that an optical delusion? LOL (Could easily be.)

Alright, here is the switch we installed for my starter, k2500life and his brother helped me.

Ok here are some updates on my murray. I replaced a 9" ish pulley for a 4" in my rear axle while keeping the front stock 3 1/2".
Also, I set a craftsman hood on my Murray and wanted to paint it black. Do y'all think I should run it or stay with the cage? You guys decide.  

The craftsman hood looks better then the cage, unless you made a really cool cage like mud kings murray on youtube

Yeah I was kinda off and on about the hood cause it's a craftsman hood on a Murray lol. But I might paint it black so it can match.

Today i drove my Murray for the first time with the new rear pulley and it goes a solid 10 mph with 18s on it.

No not really but now I am having engine problems. It keeps surging really bad and it gets to the point where it stalls and won't start until I give it a while. I have no idea yet what's going on with it. Yesterday me and chevy kid made a new gasket for the intake but nothing. Today I was going to clean the carb to see if that's my problem.

It sounds like a carb problem, did it have good gas and what condition is the fuel filter in?
