1965 simplicity landlord pulling/work tractor

I FINALLY HAVE A GARDEN TRACTOR! A SIMPLICITY NO LESS! can you say for free? who-ho i'm excited.

I instaled another clutch spring and replaced a pto belt. also greased the grease zerks. this simplicity has a limited-slip rear axle. I will try to start it today after school. I also have $403 in cash in my wallet for tires! this tractor was not absolutly free, I have to haul about 3 lads of sticks for the elderly gentalman I got it from, but it is well worth it.

Looks awesome! I hope to own a simplicity garden tractor someday. So expensive around here though.

oh yeah, I've looked for four years for one that was under $500, and then this turns up.

well the tires where flat but I got the old 1970 sears style ones on there now.

put on the tires I got from the other deal, and tilled with it a bit.

I think the best part is the tiller. I'd like to get one for one of my machines.

i had to do this to change the starter belt. i also fixed the keyway on the bevel gearbox and adjusted the steering. I also cleaned the carb so hopefully it will start better.

got er' stuck, the tiller is holding the wheels off the ground. the angle drained the gas out of the carb so it quit. time for the come-along! I may shave the head soon, and I have the governor turned up to about 4500 rpm for more speed and power, and let me tell you, it has power.

Those old Kohlers have torque. More torque than power. Very strong motors. Bulletproof if their taken care of.

It is a briggs 23 ci, kohler's hate me, and I luckily got a briggs.

Brace that stack you're gonna have an issue if that behemoth rolls onto the massive lever hanging off the block.

Nice looking machine. The grill on those things looks pretty cool.

thanks mr. Modified, I have seen people make them look like an allis chalmers D21. and 802 I am not really worried about it because it is hooked into a sheetmettal muffler that is not very substantial, si if I hit something it will just bend out of the way.
