Alrighty guys update time since it was like almost 60 degrees out I put myself through some pain and misery to get some pics for you ladies :p
Whats big and bad and yanmar all over?
That gal
She doesnt look to bad with the yanny in the engine spot is a pretty tight fit but not to bad
I straightened out the shifter as best I could with torch and pipe it doesnt look horrible and itll work so I am content
I may have to rethink the 10" pulley... Not! Ill just throw in a tensioner and a couple idlers
I bet stretch knows this position well... sitting where the seat will be and I can chill with my feet on the front wheels lol my boots block out the wheels...
The air cleaner will need to be reworked to fit better as it rubs against the hood atm even with the cover off so I will need to work on getting clearance for that
Little bit of room out front maybe a area for a horn or something more sinister...
Chugga chuggah choo choo!
I will more than likely add a stack and get rid of the muffler just so I have room for a battery for lights and a air compressor... why would I need a air compressor you might ask? aside from the obvious airing up tires? well if I can find a nice one I am gonna put a ye olde style train whistle on her! lol I am also debating fuel tank locations Id like to either put it under the seat where theres some extra room or Id like to put it in the front portion of the hood where there is a small space I am leaning more towards under the seat but that will be for another weekend...

Ill look around at what I got and online see what I can see I kinda like the spoked look so Ill see if I can find a cast iron 6 or 8. The yanny is a 6 hp and doesnt actually like the 10 inch pulley from what I gathered test running it, took a little bit to spin up and stuff so not really into that kinda spooling up so Ill just have to go for the gear ratio and se if I can gear it down for the torque!
As for test drive... maybe in a month Ill set it out there so I dont rush I am taking it slow so I know I do everything right the first time I am trying to keep from half assing it

Not really a update just mounted the diesel that was about it. Working on calling in some favors to use a lathe and a tube bender maybe see if I can find a K&n filter so I can redo the intake so it takes up less room well see
