| I got this hood for christmas last year, and i've built a few projects with it, among random fab work. im very happy with it, super light, solid heavy duty headgear, decent viewing window and responsive darkening. it has a shade control, sensitivity control and a delay for welding mesh or spot welding. i have used it with flux core welding, stick welding, oxy-actelene welding/brazing and cutting. also use it with my angle grinder sometimes. i wish it had a grind mode, because it will sometimes darken while grinding, but not a big deal. you CAN get different filters, as well as change the clear lenses. highly reccomend it. here is the helmet seen at TSC- http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/hobart-variable-shade-auto-darkening-welding-helmet-blacki see the updated price is $130. when i got mine it was about 80, so i'd wait for it to come on sale. here is a few pics of me welding with it.
