| I just started a build on a poulan riding mower it has a 15hp briggs ohv engine that runs awesome and a peerless 5 speed transaxle runs down the trail but its slow.

| I have a friend that is giving me the front suspension off of a two wheel drive four wheeler to go under it then I want to make shock mounts for the transaxle. | |

THe shocks on the front will be a nice upgrade but for the rear won't work. Your gonna run in to problems with the belt and shifter. | |

The only way you could really get it to work right would be using a peerless 700 or horizontal shaft motor. You could make a swing arm in the rear with a go kart axle and chain drive. And you would probilly need a good spring loaded tensioner on it to. It would work like that but if your looking for a cheap easy thing to do this isn't for you. | |

| use rubber grommets inbetween the transaxle and frame about 1" to help abssorb some shock and dropping tire pressure down should help. you would need to strengthen the frame and build a support brace to take the stress off the transaxle as it would be allowed to twist in whatever way ti wanted also | |
