Would a torque converter or a centrifugal clutch with a 12hp or higher motor be able to turn the tires at 15 mph without bogging down the motor?

ive been thinking and would a torque converter or a centrifugal clutch with a 12hp or higher motor be able to turn the tires at 15 mph without bogging down the motor? or is there anyway to attach a cable from the lawnmower clutch to a hand lever like an atv with it being easy to pull back but then again the clutch still is able to be real tight? i ask this because you watch atv's mudding and then they are kneeling and standing up on the back fenders to shift there weights better to get more traction, and also to not get as wet going through the deep stuff. when im trail riding i am hitting some deep holes my self and i dont always want to get plastered so ive tryed this a couple times and it helps out some but its hard because you have to let back on the clutch and hurry up and get up then when your coming out of the hole you have to hurry up and press the clutch in to slow down. i just think it would be easier to have a centrifugal clutch so you can do more stuff

Yeah a centrifugal clutch will work, but i don't think it will be great off road.

Centrifugal clutches /torqure converters would be best in non wet applications - same difference as if you take a tractor in deep water- belt will slip some after a while. Only way i could really see using a go kart type ( heavy duty) clutch would be to seal the drive setup , so it doesnt get contaminated.

Yeah if mud and sand got in the clutch it would be done in no time, sealing it all up would mean having to make a case or something for it all along the bottom of the mower.
Big pain!

The other thing with centrifugal clutches is even in clean situations, they get dirty- from clutch material and ones that use belts (belts wear and leave debris) - im well aware of how dirty snowmobile setups can get ( drove snowmobiles for 20 years) and cleaning everything more then a few times a season.

Im still going to use the clutch on my wizard tho- its a heavy duty clutch- not rebuildable tho.

thanks alot but now that you guys mention that it would be shot after like the first time i mudded it and there's no way im taking the time to make a box or clean it every 5 minutes so im not gonna do that idea any more
