JD stx 38 road tractor

this tractor has had a total of two major mods to make this John Deere STX 38 able to travel at 14 MPH and brake well too.

1. I swapped the rear 6 inch pulley with a 3 inch pulley

2. I installed a gas pedal using a bicycle brake handle

3. i cleaned and oiled the brakes to make sure they could stop the machine going 14 MPH

Now my JD STX 38 is a fun weekend/ free time machine to ride in my woods or around the neighborhood.

i am picking up a craftsman LT 1000 this next week and that will become my mud mower. As for the STX, i think paint might be something that i will do soon... do you have any suggestions?
