| I have 2 main tractors and one of them is my 1986 Lawn Chief model 39013 Garden Tractor MFG by Murray. I purchased this tractor around the same time i purchased the 112, they both arrived the same day. This tractor runs but needs carb cleaned/rebuilt and now it needs a coil. It needed a steering gear and steering arm for the longest but i finally got one. Never have took it for a ride yet but i absolutly cannot wait to drive it. Heres the stats on it 18 Horse Opposed Twin Briggs & Stratton engine 4 speed Peerless 2300 Series Trans with Crawler Gear And it has a 42 inch mower deck but i aint worried about it that much. For tires it has 16X6.50-8 Carlilse Turf-Saver II's on the front and 23X9.50-12 Carlilse. Turf-Savers on the rear, the tread style on the front is not origanal. The tractor has some rust but not very much, very minimal for its age. I am thinking about Clear Coating it because i really like the patina it has. What i want to do is get the tractor running and driving good and then go nuts with it by putting lots of stuff on it. Probably the biggest thing will be Dual 20 HP Carburators, i have a freind who has a few dual carb setups, all machine shop done adapters and everything for the mounting, throttle, choke, fuel line, and air cleaner. Then its going to get dual rear wheels but nothing crazy just skinney wheels. I am thinking dual 23X8.50-12 Carlilse Tru Powers but i may just do 23X6.50-12 because the 8.50s may be too wide. If i decide i dont want duals I will run single 23X10.50-12 Carlilse Tru Powers. The front end will get 16X6.50-8 Carlilse V61 ribs. I am also going to put a Sears 3 point hitch on it and eventually get some attachments. Oh and the best part about it, it has a chrome shifter knob! How cool is that? Lol Oh another thing is this tractor will get LED headlight bulbs instead of the stock kind and i am wanting to build a bumper for the front. Well let me know yall think, right now i have just a stock tractor, waiting on parts to get in. | |

| The more i look at this tractor the more i want to keep the wheels stock and not do duals so i think what i am going to do is just put single 23X10.50-12 Ags on the rear and ribs on the front, i think duals would ruin this tractor | |

| i played with duels on one of my old cubs i didnt find them to work any better than a single wide tire. and since 12 x 23 x 10.5 cost $100 bucks a tire and a 12 x 23 x 6 cost around $70 its cheaper to run the wide single any way. just my .02 | |
