| Here is the new layout my neighbor and i came up with today, Im going to extend the frame a few inches and weld some angle iron or tube steel down the frame to have a sturdy support to mount the transmission and transfer case to. | |

Don't count on it. Your neigbour could have low compression. Your starter's bushings could be dry and dragging, bad brushes, whatever. Lotsa possibilities. It's very likely the valve lash has gone outta spec or the starter is ailing. Hell, could even be a poor electrical connection. - Quote :

| I went and tightened the steering up real good on the craftsman for now. I just need to figure out how to mount the transfer case and tranny in there. | |

| Alright bringing this back from the dead, i just started working on it again since the weather has been nice, i scored a free 10 horse that should work perfectly for this project and im going to build my own frame out of 2x3 steel tubing | |

| I think it should, im doing my own version of a Pow R, Pup and those use 3 horses and gear reduction so i think my 10 horse will work fine if not ill get a big V-twin | |

| get the gearing right and it will be a tank. my bolens is a 10 horse tejunkseh flatty and it has more balls than some bigger engines | |

| Im not sure of the ratio im going to use but it will have 5 speeds with high and low range and the rear has 4:1 gearing | |
