| Your not going to get much out of it, Best way to increase power is through giving the engine less restance (I.e., Straight pipes, airfilter, porting, etc.) Thats a long like of people turboing small engine to little or no effect, eventually cause the engine to fail prematurely or just added weight....Sorry to end that for ya, | |

| Theres actually a couple of topics on this. Theres no real way to supercharge a mower engine, they arent made for it. If you want more power, drop the couple thousand dollars to get billet parts and an overbored head.
Otherwise, a K&N filter will do about the same amount of work a supercharger would. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| thanks for the input guys im not thinking it will help with power, but im hopin it might allow better airflow into the carb without having to cut the hood, idk its liable to not even make it to the mower tho | |

| I agree that a supercharger would be better, but what could we use that would give off 10, or more, psi? I heard that 10psi and up then you can feel it. | |

Yeah i say 10psi would be good. no I said more than 10 Oh ok sorry i misread it. Whatever the case, I can say with honesty one of those part-time electric turbo's (the hairdryers as they're nicknamed in the car crowd) DO make power for a mower. The smog pump superchargers work too, but not as well. Either way, you're losing some durability by going that route... |

I think you culd take down like a thoutanth of a inch off the head, then you could get a little more comprssion. I wish they made a oversived cam for this. it would sound gnarly

So I looked it up, and I guess if you want a true "supercharger" you should look for one of those 70-100+ gallon air compressors and get the compresser off of it. How much air does it blow is the question, so if any one wanted to do this it would be all home brew. im super intrusted so ill ask some of my friends.
