So I gotta ask, when do you stop calling it a mower?

Since I'm a noob in this.
I've wondered when do you guys stop calling it a lawn mower or tractor?

Driven by a belt
No individual suspension
Stock Engine
Turf Tyres

Or just a Tractor / Mower hood and fender?

Never.

I alternate between mower and tractor.

Haven't gotten to that point with any of ours *shrug*

I would say as soon as you say screw mowing grass and go mudding.

I suppose Mowercross would fall under the Enduro category.

Mine is built for that, except faster.

This a good example of when you stop calling it a lawn mower.

when you cant mow your lawn with it you stop calling it a mower. but it will always be a tractor no matter how modified it gets.

I guess Rally Tractor would fall under Enduro.

Ours still mow grass, they just use the tires instead of the deck!

i say if it doesnt cut grass it isnt a mower
and they didnt call it a mower way back when they called them garden tractors
but if its not stock its not a mower
i just like to call them tractors aswell

i never call tractors mowers. if they have a mowing deck they are lawn tractor. without the mowing deck its a tractor. i do call something a mower though and thats my 5hp push mower
