| You wont need a CVT, but something like it. AKA a jackshaft. Its basically a stationary CVT. You would use a normal front clutch and then one idler on the top belt. You could even use a chain on the top if you wanted. But if you want a reliable drivetrain, a CVT isnt the way to go. Yeah, and the 20hp rated cvt is kickass, but expensive! | |

Ya he's got a point, maybe if you don't use the gears that much. But choose what gear before you start running. Idk, will see

| I'm so glad I bought the Jonsered/ Craftsman, since there's tons of odd tiny bit odds and ends I realized I would need, but didn't have before.
And I really would like some sort of front suspension like an inch or so, but can't decide if and how.
A-arm type or easy 4-link. gah choices!

| hope you plan on running this thing for strictly for drag racing. Mower fames are a little narrow when it comes to stability. Mine sits 46 in long by 32 in wide, 33 in tall, and on a 90 degree corner going 20, I feel like I'm going to tip. While Im probably just over boarding this thing, I really hope you plan on adding some sort of wind-shield. Running 90-some miles and hour and hitting a horsefly or something is going to HURT | |

Thanks for your concern, but this will be custom built, and not limited by any Width restrictions. the only limit is my head. I figured this would be 46-48" wide in the front, not so wide in the back. - The 820-037 Peerless is 30" wide total. With 9" wide rims should make it, Well 30+9+9- offset and bolt on. aprox: 45" wide in the rear. And it will be 2-5" of ground clearance. and no windshield. Helmet and old school racing goggles
